Sylvan Lange joined Lakefield LLP with a focus on criminal defence, handling serious charges such as violent offences, impaired driving, drug-related crimes, and weapons charges. Committed to fair representation, he is well-versed in the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Youth Criminal Justice Act. Sylvan serves clients across Saskatchewan, traveling to court locations and circuit points throughout the province.
During his articling year with the Saskatchewan Provincial Court (2023-2024), Sylvan gained significant experience working closely with judges in Regina on a wide range of criminal cases. His role included contributing to trials, bail hearings, and sentencing, along with secondments at Lakefield LLP and the Constitutional Law Branch of the Ministry of Justice.
Sylvan holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Great Distinction from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan (2018) and a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law (2023).
Outside of his legal practice, Sylvan is an avid fitness and strength training enthusiast, a musician, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking.
